Applying for a leave

To apply for a leave, log in to HR Blizz.

After you have logged in to HR Blizz, you will be taken to the "My Apps" page, which includes the apps you have access to (Apply for leave, Help & Support etc.).


  • To send a request for a new Leave, employees must click on the button "Request New Leave" on the upper right corner.


  • A pop-up window will appear, and from there, employees can choose the type of Leave (select from the drop-down list). After selecting the type of Leave they want, they will see the balance of remaining days for this type of Leave.


  • Then, employees select the number of Leave days from the calendar by clicking on the first day the Leave starts and the last day of Leave. If they are requesting open-ended Leave, then they choose only the start date.  They can move between months and years by clicking on the arrows next to the month's name.

  • After selecting the days of Leave on the calendar, the count of Leave days the employees are requesting will be displayed above the calendar, and they will see the balance of remaining Leave days after the request.
  • If needed, they can add comments about this Leave request on the comments box.
  • They can also add attachments to their request.

     
  • To send the Leave request to their manager for approval, they click on "Request Leave."
  • If they don't want to send the request for approval immediately, they can click on "Save as a Draft" and send the request later.
  • The requested Leave will appear under "Leave" with the mention that the Leave has been requested. Upon approval or rejection, the correct status will be displayed for this Leave.
